Experiments on cattle on a farm with heavy natural infections of Calicophoron calicophorum and Paramphistomum ichikawai showed that moxidectin, a combination of ivermectin-clorsulon, and closantel were ineffective against these 2 most commonly occurring species of paramphistomes found in Australia.
